Trauner Celebrates America's Birthday Across Wyoming
Lander (Office of Trauner for Congress) -- The fourth of July is a time for fireworks, family and celebrating our freedoms, Gary Trauner noted Friday. With much of the same energy and enthusiasm that took him to nearly 20,000 doors in 2006 Trauner will attend celebrations across the state this 4th of July weekend.
Starting with a parade in Lander, Trauner then headed to Laramie to take part in "Freedom has a Birthday" and finally enjoyed the fireworks at the Casper Events Center in Casper.
"Although I can't make it to every celebration this fourth of July, volunteers and friends will be participating in festivities state-wide as we emphasize that our freedoms aren't free and our soldiers deserve more than a pat on the back when they get home. I've spoken at length about what I will do for Wyoming Veterans when elected to Congress, and I won't stop until they get the benefits and respect they deserve."
Trauner will continue his weekend by helping kick-off Team Trauner's state-wide canvass on Saturday. He met volunteers at his headquarters in Casper at 10:00 AM for canvassing, before heading to Cheyenne, where he will meet volunteers there at 3:00 PM for Canvassing.
