Rummage Sale for Refugees
Cheyenne -- The first annual Rummage for Refugees will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. August 2 at the Prudential parking lot, just behind Carl's Jr., 1621 Warren Ave.
Rummage for Refugees is a worldwide nonprofit, they provide education, food, protection,and much much more for refugees all over the world and for natural disaster victims. All items for the rummage sale are donated, all proceeds will go directly to the IRC. The rest of the items will be donated to the local Needs organization, excluding any supplies that can be shipped over the the camps themselves.
Out of every $1 donated, 90 cents goes directly to the refugee programs! The IRC has been in business since 1933, when it was started by Albert Einstein.
Donated items are welcome for the rummage sale. Just call 286-3683 and they will pick up!! The event will provide plenty of information about the IRC and the Refugees,
